Hey Monday: Just a Thought

Dreams don’t work until you do, boo!

It’s enough to want something and then sit around and do nothing to accomplish it.  Then we have the nerve to get mad when nothing comes from our “nothingness.”  Starting that business or that organization takes work and not just wishful thinking.  And while positive thinking is a key ingredient, the work you put in is just as important.

Everyone has dreams and goals for their lives but only a few actually take the steps to realize those dreams. There are many things that can get in the way of accomplishing a dream such as fears or waiting for the right moment. Those are hindrances as the time to do anything is now.  Accomplishing dreams aren’t for “certain types of people.”  They are for the people who work to get there.  Believe it or not we are all good at something. There is something that you can do that no one else can do as well as you.  But at the same time, you are replaceable.  This is because if you do not do the work you need to in order to get to where you want to be, someone else will.  It is not always the people who are the most talented that are in the higher ups and on the scene.  It is the one whose hustle is greatest. To be amongst the great, you have to begin to do great work.  Take pride in all that you do.

My name is Robinette and I love cupcakes, cakes, and donuts! I am a follower of Christ, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. I believe my life’s purpose is to empower women by inspiring them to rise to optimal living, hence the blog. I believe that I am already a success because I am following my dreams and on track to my life’s purpose and what to see other women do the same. I will share my life’s lessons and the wisdom I have gained from it using my signature humor…Ok I’m not that funny.
  • Yes! I will be tweeting this, “If you do not do the work you need to in order to get to where you want to be, someone else will.”

    Have a Fabulous Weekend!
